Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Her most well-known role was playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. There is also a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years in her teen years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of this class in 2012 as she graduated. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. It was the second time that it was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples also played a frequent role on Necessary Rustness (1991). Peeples was a TV star in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She joined the cast in an important recurring role on a second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar illness in an interview she gave an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the nation's top young actors.
